MGW CEO and Veteran Artiste Manager, Mavin Grandpa, Registers with DGN Ahead of July Induction
Earlier today, Mr Collins Ifeanyi Onwuneme—popularly known as Mavin Grandpa—paid a formal courtesy visit to the Secretariat of the Directors’ Guild of Nigeria (DGN) in Surulere, Lagos. Mr Onwuneme, who is the Chief Executive Officer of Mavin Grandpa Worldwide (MGW), is a celebrated veteran artiste manager, passionate showbiz consultant, public speaker, entrepreneur, brand ambassador, actor, and filmmaker.
He was warmly received by the President of the DGN, Dr Victor Okhai, and the Guild’s former president, Mr Bond Emeruwa. Both dignitaries welcomed him with open arms and heartfelt goodwill, as he formally submitted his registration documents to them and Mr Sam Boye, a member of the Guild’s screening committee.
In addition to his extensive portfolio in the creative industry, Mr Onwuneme serves as the President and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Artiste Managers Association in Nigeria (AMAN)—an organisation dedicated to the promotion, empowerment, and professional advancement of practitioners within Nigeria’s vibrant creative sector.
Mr Onwuneme has now officially registered as a member of the Directors’ Guild of Nigeria and is slated to be inducted at the forthcoming DGN Induction Ceremony, scheduled for 17th July 2025 in Lagos. Further details will be communicated in due course.
