KADUNA, Nigeria – May 30, 2025 — In a bold stride toward self-reliance in defense manufacturing, the Nigerian Army has officially taken delivery of a fleet of All-Terrain Combat Vehicles — codenamed Vanquisher — proudly built by Vanquish Industries in Kaduna State.
The new combat machines, described as “a game-changer for tactical operations,” are designed to meet the dynamic demands of modern warfare. Built with military-grade materials, the Vanquisher vehicles come equipped with advanced night vision systems, allowing troops to operate effectively under the cover of darkness.
Each unit is fitted with Night Goggle Vision, 360-degree ballistic protection, and can travel over 80 kilometers even with flat tyres, revealed Ishaku Duwa, a senior staff member at Vanquish Industries.
Beyond their resilience, the vehicles feature all-terrain suspension systems, specifically engineered to boost infantry mobility in rugged and hostile environments — a crucial advantage in ongoing security operations across Nigeria.
Military analysts view this as a significant step in Nigeria’s push to develop indigenous defense technology, reducing dependence on foreign military hardware.
As the vehicles roll out onto the battlefield, the Vanquisher is poised to become a powerful symbol of Nigerian innovation and resolve in the face of evolving security challenges.
